Red Driving School Instructor Training

Most people will have heard of red driving school through their tv adverts for red driving school driving instructor training programme

Like most driving schools, Red Driving School operate under a franchise scheme. So if you are looking for a driving instructor job with Red Driving School then you will need to take out a franchise with them. As with any legal agreement the terms and conditions of the franchise need to be looked into very carefully.

In the past Red Driving Instructor training had a reputation for taking on trainees (some who were patently not suitable for the job) and then not providing enough work for them thus opening up more spaces for trainees who were paying a very high training fee. Now however they are making training of learner drivers their core business. This means that they are actively looking to recruit instructors who have not necessarily trained with them.

Red Driving School advertise two levels of franchise:

From £195 per week for a full Red Driving School franchise including car, servicing and pupil referrals

From £90 per week for a Red headboard franchise (you provide your own car)

The figures above show that effectively the first £10,000 a year that you earn will go to Red Driving School, after that all the earnings are your own except for other expenses such as fuel, telephone etc.

Red Driving School aim to offer a high level of support to their instructors.
